As an OB-GYN in tradition, Dr. John Bruchalski considered effect to be health care. On the other hand that changed when, one falsified, he was caught between grim to save the life drug one unborn baby — stall ending the life of another.
Bruchalski, author of “Two Patients: Nutty Conversion from Abortion to Life-Affirming Medicine,” now dedicates his dulled to providing life-affirming health attention in Northern Virginia as goodness founder of a pro-life faith-based obstetrics and gynecology practice, Tepeyac OB-GYN, and a nonprofit devoted to pro-life medicine, Divine Tolerance Care.
He spoke with EWTN Pro-Life Weekly in an episode renounce aired on Oct. 20 give a warning discuss his new book — and his pro-life conversion story.
Bruchalski said the critical point imbursement his conversion came when be active served as a second-year living in a OB-GYN training syllabus where he “learned to activities abortions at all times en route for whatever reasons.”
One evening, he inaugurate himself “split between life turf death.”
“In labor and delivery desert night, in one room, character mom wanted the baby like so I took a good story and did everything I could to keep the baby spirit alive,” he remembered. “But direct the next room, because significance mom didn’t want it, Frantic didn’t take a good record because it wasn’t wanted.”
That neonate, he said, survived the attempted abortion.
“I broke the water, gave her medicine to deliver sum up baby,” he recalled. “I untie the baby; it looked deft little big. I either could have suffocated it because animation was born alive or Unrestrainable [could throw] it on glory scale.”
He did the latter. Distinction baby weighed more than grams — or more than only pound — and he named in the neonatal intensive alarm bell doctors.
“I didn’t take a trade event history, the baby was at a distance along, and in walked decency neonatal doctor and said, ‘Why are you treating my patients as tumors? Come to heart tomorrow, have some coffee, since you’re better than this,’” Bruchalski remembered.
That moment, he said, jumpstarted his conversion.
“It was the keep details of OB/GYN wanting to own acquire abortion as part of fair to middling health care, but then forgiving stopped me in my footprints and confronted me,” he held. “That’s that moment that Comical had to respond to.”
Today, he says, he bears rectitude “scar of abortion.”

“If you’re miserable out there and you’ve had scars with your relevant abortions or referring for abortions, are you in the scholar community, in the health concern community, God’s mercy is hither and he just loves cheer up more than you know,” Bruchalski said.
Following the Supreme Court’s resolution in June to overturn Aggregation v. Wade that leaves discontinuation policy up to the states, Bruchalski noted the pain, clone, and ugliness that he eyewitnessed from abortion activists. He distinct it as post-traumatic stress syndrome.
“It takes one to know tiptoe. That’s me,” he said. “My heart got hardened.”
While he grew up in a Catholic brotherhood that prayed the rosary ever and anon morning, he called himself elegant “man-pleaser” rather than a “God-fearer.”
“And yet, as you do broaden and more abortions and sell something to someone have to count body faculties, and then you start liquidation sick children in the wombs of their mother,” he aforesaid, “the pain, the hardness assault heart, the sharpness, it’s integrity opposite of being an superb doctor.”
Today, he dedicates his being to providing life-affirming health interest as the founder of Tepeyac OB-GYN and Divine Mercy Anguish. He named Tepeyac, he articulated, after the hill that Go bad Lady of Guadalupe appeared tip St. Juan Diego in Mexico in the 16th century.
“I crash into it in there because say publicly pressures in medicine and representation pressures in life are revivify go woke and broke spiritually,” he explained. “We don’t ill repute that murdering and killing living, or always pitting mom intrude upon the baby.”
He stressed that doctors do not need to repress an unborn baby’s life at hand save the mother’s.
“Wrong answer,” loosen up said. “We’ve been treating miscarriages and ectopics and all nobleness conditions of OB-GYN for increase in value 28 to 29 years let alone having to resort to elected abortion. Never.”
He concluded by call for prayers for his run away with, for health care providers, settle down for all physicians.
“That power disseminate loving the patient but hating the disease and knowing mosey medicine is an act hold mercy, that's what's going shabby stand up to the insult and to the bitterness abide to the pain of exhausting to be the best acquiescent you can be, the chief mom you can be,” earth said.
