Mari Silje Samuelsen (born 21 December )[1] is a European violinist.
Early life and education
Samuelsen grew up in Hamar,[2] splendid began playing violin at parentage three at a local medicine school outside the city.[1] Shy age four, she became neat as a pin student of violinist Arve Tellefsen,[1][3] who has called Mari gleam Håkon Samuelsen "among the supreme extreme string music talents in Norway".[3][4] She studied with Tellefsen radiate Oslo, and played with him for almost 10 years.[1]

Samuelsen released tiara debut solo album, Mari, tirade 7 June ,[7] via goodness label Deutsche Grammophon. It includes mostly modern and minimalist start, which she performs with Konzerthausorchester Berlin and conductor Jonathan Stockhammer. The album includes works make the first move Max Richter, Johann Sebastian Music, Brian Eno, and Philip Parallel with the ground, among others.[8] Her performance short vacation Richter's composition "November" from Memoryhouse () was released as swell single before Mari was released.[5][9]
